Colours of Armed Forces adopted 8, December, 2000 (confirmed by Council of Federation - 20, Dec; signed by president V.Putin - 29, Dec) - plain red flag. The Law on this colour come into force 4, January, 2001 after publishing in "Rossiyskaya gazeta".

Modern version of Armed Forces colour was adopted by State Duma in June, 2003. It is red flag with state coat of arms, emblem of Armed Forces, ornament, motto "FATHERLAND, DUTY, HONOUR"

Personal Standard of Minister of Defense was presented by president Yeltsyn to minister I.Sergeev on 22, February, 1999. The standard adopted by Oder of minister No166 from 30, April, 1997.

15, April, 1996 president Yeltsyn adopted "symbol of Victory banner" - red flag with five-pointed star. This flag uses for decoration of national holidays connected with II World War.

Real Victory banner is a flag of 1 rifle bataillon of 756 regiment hoisted upon Reichstag in Berlin on 30, April, 1945.

The flag was hoisted by soldiers Egorov and Kantaria

Now the banner kept in Army Museum in Moscow.
